Gotcha Day One Year Ago

One year ago, we held Dylan tightly as we walked out of the Tokmok orphanage.

It is possibly the happiest day of my life. That day has lasted a year so far - one long wonderful day.

Happy Gotcha Day, Dylan. We love you more than we can ever express with words.

Updated with photos.

Here are are some photos of our celebrations. It started in L.A. over Memorial Day weekend and to the actual Gotcha Day celebrated while at Auntie Kay's spaghetti feed fundraiser for the SF Breast Cancer walk.

Yes, those are Gotcha Day shirts from Grandma Pat and Auntie Kelly. They were so cool. It had a photo of Dylan from my first visits with him in Tokmok for Trip 2. Everyone in the family got to wear theirs that night.

WOW! I remember our time in Tokmok like it was yesterday -- not a year ago. But, some days it seems like a lifetime ago. Dylan is certainly looking excellent. The year has been good to him! Congratulations to all of you for finding each other and becoming a family!

Love those Gotcha Day shirts!!! What a great idea! I can't believe how fast time has flown and how fast the babies have turned into little ones*so bittersweet*, but I'm with you on the tantrums, we probably have the same temperament regarding that one. Anyway, big Congrats to you, Bill, and Dylan-cherish these days always:)
